Sixty years. One family.
Three hundred feet of ocean.
High Noon Beach Resort is a small, privately owned oceanfront resort in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida, run by the same family for more than sixty years. Four low-rise buildings — the High Noon, the Sea Foam, the Nautilus and the Beach House — sit side by side directly on the Atlantic, with tropical gardens and heated pools between the rooms and the sand.
We were never going to be the biggest place on the beach, and we never wanted to be. Forty rooms, suites and residences is enough to know our guests by name — and enough for our guests to feel like the place is theirs. Many of them have been coming back for decades. Their kids come back now.
Everything has been recently renovated, but the idea hasn't changed since the beginning: a clean, comfortable, personal place to stay on the ocean, in a real town, at a fair price.
A Day at High Noon
There's no itinerary. This is just how it tends to go.
6:45 am
The sun comes up out of the Atlantic. You watch it from the balcony with a coffee, because Lauderdale-by-the-Sea faces east and the pier is right there.
10:00 am
Towels, sand chairs and an umbrella are already set. The beach is 300 feet of ours, and it's never crowded.
2:00 pm
Heated pool, a book, the sound of palms. Nobody is on a schedule.
7:00 pm
Walk into the village for dinner — no car, no valet, no reservations drama. Then walk home along the water.
Upscale, without the pretense.
Directly on the Ocean
Not across the street, not a shuttle away. Four low-rise buildings sit side by side on 300 feet of direct Atlantic frontage, with the beach at the end of the garden path.
One Family, Sixty-Plus Years
High Noon has been privately owned and family-run by the Novak family for more than sixty years, alongside an extended family they simply call our wonderful staff. The people at the front desk know the property, the town, and — after your first visit — you.
A Village, Not a Strip
Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a walkable beach town with a fishing pier, a low-rise main street of restaurants and shops, and a coral reef you can snorkel from the sand. Fort Lauderdale is close when you want it.
"Why do guests come back?" Because High Noon isn't just a place to sleep in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. After a stay or two, it's your place by the sea.
